Weekly Message 3/22/16
Hello everyone. Here are some announcements for what has shaped up to be a very short week.
Construction at the Lowell
The work that commenced at the Lowell on Friday afternoon, to repair ceilings in the "old wing" of the school, was completed on Sunday. A large crew of workers worked all weekend and a cleaning crew followed them. Teachers and staff could not believe that when they came in it looked as if no work was done at all! I am grateful to our custodial staff, our facilities department, and the school department and tow for the support in getting the job done.
Site Council This Week
School Site Council will meet on Thursday, March 31st at 7pm. The meeting was originally scheduled for this Thursday-due to the holiday weekend it needed to be rescheduled.
No School Friday, March 25th.
A reminder that there will be no school this Friday in observance of the Good Friday holiday.
Report Cards
Term 2 report cards will be going home for students in grades 1-5 on Thursday of this week. You will have the opportunity to talk about your student's progress at parent-teacher conferences in April. PreK and kindergarten families will receive notification to access the online early childhood progress report this week.
